Manchester United attacker Antony has linked his move to leave the club during the summer transfer, with Al Nasr interested in securing his signature.
According to a report by Footmercato, the Saudi Arabian outfit has submitted offers to players, and it will be interesting to see if the two clubs are able to make a deal.
Antony was an expensive mistake
The Brazilian has failed to meet expectations since the 95 million euro travel from Ajax, and he has proven to be an expensive mistake for Manchester United. It appears that the Premier League site was unable to hand over Saudi Arabia’s relief this summer. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can remove players and invest the proceeds from his departure into the play team.
Manchester United will need to improve their offensive units this summer, and signing strikers is a priority. By removing the Brazilians, you can bring in funds to sign trustworthy goal scorers.
Brazilians need to move on
South America doesn’t have a future for Manchester United, so it would be ideal for him to move on. Antony also links to Real Betis, a La Liga costume. However, the Spanish outfit doesn’t seem to be able to afford him.
The transition to Saudi Arabia could be an interesting opportunity for him. He certainly pockets a lucrative contract with the Saudi Arabian club and can play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane.
It remains to be seen whether he will be able to get his career back on track with Saudi regular football. Ideally, he should consider continuing in Europe at this stage of his career, but the lack of shooters could move him to the Saudi Arabian League for now.
