Trainer Bill Mott has bolstered Sovereignty’s profile with wins in the G2 Fountain of Youth and a runner-up finish in the G1 Florida Derby. The son of Into Mischief is slated to compete next in the G1 Travers Stakes at Saratoga on August 23.
MindFrame, owned by Repole Stable and St. Elias LLC, follows closely in second place after previously leading the voting. Other contenders such as MindFrame, Fierceness, Sierra Leone (8th), and White Abrario (10th) are also entered in the upcoming 1° Mile Whitney.
Additional horses in the voting include She is Pretty (23 votes), Farbridge (16), Baeza (16), Methods and Means (14), Magnitude (12), Excellent Truth (7), and several others with fewer votes.
