Liverpool head coach Arne Slot claimed the Reds would not hesitate to strike with more additional additions in the summer transfer market.
Although in Anfield’s history, one summer window never had a cascade like the first team’s signature, Liverpool won the Premier League last season and has the financial means to package the slot team with exciting additions.
The idea that Mohamed Sarah will combine with Florian Wiltz and Hugo Ekitique, previously two of the brightest talents in the German Bundesliga, will be quite a bit in the coming years.
And more may be added to the rank.
However, Louis Diaz was sold to Bayern Munich for a fee of £65.5 million. This is a departure that can be felt at Merseyside next season.
Liverpool’s decision to sell Louis Diaz
Liverpool sold 28-year-old Diaz. He wants to leave as he enters the penultimate year of his contract, earning a relatively poor amount compared to many of Liverpool’s top pay stars.
Bayern gave the Reds quite a few pennies, and although he felt his sales didn’t do anything easy, he now lacked the energy of the versatile forward electric paced on the Anfield side.
Following the announcement of Diaz’s sales, Sarah said: “Your energy, drive and passion have left an unforgettable mark.”
And he has improved over the past year, moving from Jurgen Klopp’s gegenpress to a more systematic “slotball.”

Diaz’s sale will of course do something like a window for hand Cody Gakupo to grasp for the coming weeks and months.
But the Colombian, now part of the Dai Roten team, plays a substantial portion of the football as the makeshift No. 9, and when Liverpool replaces him, they may be aiming for the central player.
Liverpool’s target wants to join them
According to Athletics David Ornstein, Liverpool has seen the opening offer for Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac being knocked back. It fell to a ballpark in the UK record territory of over £120 million.
Transfer reporter Ben Jacobs supports the report, revealing that the 25-year-old “pushes” the side of the slot. Magpies are important to emphasize, but they assert that they will only earn cash if they find the right alternative.
With careful financial planning and handling, Liverpool can move into this enviable position, and Isaac will be the icing of the cake this summer.
What Liverpool get with Alexander Isaac
Isak has been with Newcastle for three years and joined in 2022 for £63 million from Real Sociedad. Pandit’s alliance McCoist welcomed him as “the best all-around centre forward” in the Premier League for his efforts over the 2024/25 season.
Manchester City’s Erling Haaland may be a more clinical ball strike machine, but Isaac’s rounded style blends with style and suggests that he can be slotted along Anfield’s path of things.
It’s an offensive game where you play to stand out for Sarah’s strengths. Liverpool’s Dutch ace scored 18 goals and provided seven assists last season, helping them win the Premier League.
Of course, he can’t hate creating and drawing defenders. As a result, Liverpool was able to find a new high-class partnership that would develop between Isaac and Gakupo.

The weekly £120k ISAK has a lot to do with the locker, but he’s pretty much simplifying his game in Newcastle, abandoning more athletic and mobile elements to improve world-class shooting. It worked for the highlighted effect as Newcastle regained his position in the Champions League and elsewhere won the Carabao Cup (against Liverpool).
He was only outthed by Sarah, but his roundness suggests that he could become Gakupo’s exciting dance partner.
Gakpo is not a single trick pony in any stretch, but he focuses on scoring goals, cutting inside and hitting goals clinically.
Isak created 11 big opportunities on top flights last season, so it appears he is a tailor-made addition to pairing with Gakpo. Gakpo ranked in the top 4% of the midfielders and Wingers offensive midfielders and Wingers last year, ranking in penalty goals per 90 per 90 per Fbref (0.47).
Dutchman has been praised by Pandit Peter Crouch for “leveling up” as the slot replaced Klopp in the dugout, and can only imagine the height the 25-year-old can reach alongside a cultivated, confident superstar like Isaac, who is described as “Wizard,” like the Weissers.
Again, Liverpool knows their hopes to sign the ability to find a Newcastle alternative. They want Benjamin Sesco from RB Leipzig, but he is also being pursued by Manchester United, who is preparing for a formal bid.
However, the Magpie will be cautious about keeping Isaac in the book after his desperate efforts to force his move to Liverpool.
