Benjamin Sesco has decided to move to Manchester United this summer.

RB Leipzig Striker is actively courted by both the Red Devils and Newcastle.

Amidst serious interest in Liverpool, Alexander Isaac’s continued transfer saga has encouraged Magpies to enter the market for top striker alternatives.

However, United are similarly trying to bolster their attacks, including Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

For the current situation, Sesko could be the signature of Ruben Amorim’s fourth summer transfer window.

This follows the deals of Cunha (Wolves), Mbeumo (Brentford), and Diego Leon (Cerro Porteno).

However, the transaction is do not have It’s still confirmed.

Representatives from United and Newcastle are currently in Leipzig for negotiations. Both clubs offer a total package of approximately 85 million euros (£742 million). Magpies, which should be noted, offers a little more.

If Manchester United and RB Leipzig can reach an agreement on the transferring side of the equation, the striker heads for Manchester.

But: Newcastle is ready and waiting to respond if the chance comes!

What will Sesco bring to the Premier League?

No one in Carrington is under the illusion that the club is signing a central centre in World Football.

That said, Old Trafford recruiters can at least ensure that Benjamin Sesco offers a clear upgrade to the failed Rasmus Hozilund.

Statistically speaking, Slovenia International is simply a much more effective operator in the box when given a chance.

Interestingly, the Bundesliga hitman registered a similar touch in the opposition box to Hozilund in 2024/25. Nevertheless, Sesco has almost doubled the target conversion rate for Manchester United’s counterparts.

There’s still clearly been something that needs to be done to speed up the Leipzig striker in the Premier League, but it looks like another potentially sharp purchase for the Red Devils.

Of course, if they can get a trade across the line!

Benjamin Sesco can become the next big thing in the UK

Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco teammates appreciate him very, very highly. They say he’s better than Elling Haaland. In particular, they both played together in Salzburg and signed the Austrian Red Bull subsidiary in 2019.

At 22 years old he was very young, he has excellent technical capabilities, and he is fast. He introduced some impressive attributes this May when he lobbed Jonas Irvig in the opening 11 minutes in a 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich!

This is why no one thought Sesco would stay in Leipzig beyond the summer window. He is already considered too big for the club.

It will be a difficult decision for Newcastle to take, but players will ultimately prefer a move to United at this point due to the club’s big history. The Leipzig star believes he can win the title in Manchester.

The club still has to talk. Once everything goes into planning, Benjamin Sesco will become a more United player than in the 2025/26 season.
