Manchester United have shown their ambitions in the summer transfer window by signing players like Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko.
The Red Devils are tied to the moves of Brighton midfielder Carlos Valleva, but their transfer business will depend heavily on sales, without the amount they have already spent this summer and the financial benefits of Champions League football next season.
Reuben Amorim’s team finished 15th in the league last season and failed to win the Europa League final against Tottenham.
It was clear that a major addition was needed especially in the attacking position this summer.
Rasmus Hojlund has no future for Man United
They managed to deal with these issues, but they are still looking to offload many players. Rasmus Hojlund, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and others are not part of Amorim’s future plans, and United are looking for their buyers.
The arrival of Sesco at the club has made life difficult for Hodglund at Old Trafford, and it is accepted that the club will be selling a former Atalanta striker.
Graeme Bailey provided the latest updates during his conversation with United.
“I’ve been told by sources close to the club that the ‘inconvenient truth’ is that Rasmus Hozilund will leave. He’s a great guy, everyone likes him and a teammate like him.
“Juventus is ready to move on from Vlahovich and they like Hozilund. They are keeping an eye on him, but their priorities are to secure Randall Koro Muani.
“We are interested in Germany and are said to be unable to discount at this point, but Serie A remains the most likely destination. It’s very likely that it’s a loan in some way.”
The Red Devils have plenty of options for offense next season
Joshua Zilcoosie is already at the club as a backup option to Sesco, and with the presence of Chido Obimartin, a young emerging attacker, Hodzilund has no future for Old Trafford, and it is clear that he and the club will say goodbye this summer.
The striker has made it clear that he has no desire to leave the club, but considering moving from the Giants in the Premier League this summer will be in his greatest benefit, as opportunities are very limited for him under Amorim in the 2025-26 season.
Hojlund is disappointed and his growth is stuck at United. Perhaps the move to Serie A, a familiar environment to him, may serve as a catalyst for him to regain his form.
