Newcastle United are trapped in the transfer of AC Milan central defender Malick Chiau, and the player is currently flying to England.

According to Fabrizio Romano on the official account of X, previously Twitter, Thiaw is flying from Milan to Newcastle tonight.

According to Romano in a previous post, Germany International is scheduled to provide medical care on Monday, but will sign a contract with Newcastle tomorrow.

Eddie Howe appears to land a great defensive signature in time for the start of the new season, so please see below as Romano check out this exciting Newcastle forwarding news…

“The plan has been confirmed: Malick Tear is flying from Milan to Newcastle now,” Romano posted this evening.

Looking for a strong end to Newcastle summer

Though it wasn’t the easiest summer for Newcastle, Chio looks like he’s going to be a great signature, there’s also a lot of talk about Anthony Elanga, who joined from Nottingham Forest early in the window.

The NUFC is struggling to land their best goal otherwise, but Benjamin Sesco has chosen to sign Manchester United.

I imagine there could be more problems as Alexander Isaac’s future has not been resolved yet.

Fabrizio Romano speaks exclusively Catch off side That Isaac’s plan is still ongoing with Newcastle departing for Liverpool, so it will be interesting to see how this story solves.

Newcastle fans hope that the Chiau deal will go smoothly, but it is clear that more signatures will be needed to close the window strongly.

Magpie supporters hope it doesn’t have to replace Isaac, but it would certainly be wise to prepare for the worst by bringing in a new striker as soon as possible.
