Odell Beckham Jr. remains an active player despite currently being a free agent. On Tuesday afternoon, after posting about three Pro Bowl receivers on X, which garnered over 2 million views, he addressed rumors fueled by fake social media accounts claiming he had retired.

Beckham shared, "It’s not finished yet… I had a blessed day, thanking HR concerns." Later, he emphasized seriously that his career is ongoing. The former New York Giants star and Super Bowl champion with the Los Angeles Rams signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins in May 2024. However, by mid-December, Beckham and the Dolphins mutually agreed to part ways.

During his time with the Dolphins, Beckham appeared in nine games and caught just nine passes, totaling 55 yards on 18 targets. Notably, this season marked the first time in his 10-year career he finished without a touchdown. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel explained that the decision to move on was mutual, emphasizing transparent communication and saying, "This is best for both parties."

After being released, Beckham was not picked up by another team for the remainder of the season. In 2023, he played 14 games for the Baltimore Ravens, starting six and recording 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns. Beckham did not play during the 2022 season as he was recovering from a torn ACL. This injury limited his impact in what could have been a Super Bowl MVP-worthy performance. After being cut by the Cleveland Browns, Beckham joined the Rams in 2021, contributing 52 yards and a touchdown during their Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Beckham’s peak NFL years occurred during his first three seasons when he made the Pro Bowl each year and posted three of his five 1,000-yard receiving seasons. Drafted 12th overall by the Giants in 2014, he became famous for his spectacular one-handed catches and standout performances on Sunday Night Football. Despite setbacks from team issues and injuries, Beckham had the potential for Hall of Fame recognition.

According to Beckham himself, his NFL journey is "not finished yet."

Fan Take: This update is important for NFL fans because Odell Beckham Jr.’s talent and electrifying playmaking have made him one of the most exciting players in recent memory. His declaration that he isn’t done yet leaves the door open for a possible comeback that could bring more thrilling moments to the game and inspire fans and players alike.
