This year was a summer roller coaster for Tottenham Hotspur.
North Londoners began their transfer window in modest ways, completed Matthew’s permanent signature, and brought in the exciting but young Kota Takai.
Daniel Levy and Co then completed the capture of Mohamed Kudus from West Ham United and then attempted not to sign Morgan Gibbs White.
Unlike previous summers, however, the Europa League champions seem determined to bring more potential game-changers before the windows close.
One of the players they have been frequently tied to lately was Savinho, but if the report is believed, the club may be planning a move for someone who will be even better signings.
Upgrading Spurs Target Savinho
Reports of Spurs’ interest in Savinho began to appear first towards the end of last week. However, it was just the last day or so that the link started to heat up.
According to some sources, the people of North London have already made their first offer for the 21-year-old gem.
But the Brazilian would be a very exciting addition to Lily White’s team, but now it appears that the club is looking at another Premier League star, someone who will become a better signing.
At least that’s a recent report from Spain that the Spurs have revealed they are still very interested in Everach Eze this summer.
In fact, the report is much further than that, claiming that Lily White is currently preparing the Crystal Palace star offer.
It could ultimately be a complicated and expensive transfer, but Eze has proven he’s worth the effort, and for our money, he’ll be a better signing than Sabigno.
Why would Eze be a better signature than Savinho?
Now, the Spurs should be told it’s better to sign either Savinho or Eze this summer. Because both players are undoubtedly talented and bring something fresh to Frank’s offense.
Still, there are several reasons why the latter is a better addition than the former.
The first is production since last season, as the Brazilian ace scored three goals and provided 13 assists, like Manchester City’s 48 appearances, which totaled 3,087 minutes.
That is, he maintains a reasonably impressive average of goal involvement every three games, or every 192.93 minutes, which certainly isn’t bad, but it pales in comparison to the palace star.
With 43 appearances for the Eagles, in a total of 3,303 minutes, the 27-year-old “Superstar” was dubbed by analyst Ben Matinson, scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists.

In other words, Greenwich-born dynamos were able to maintain average goal involvement every 1.72 games or every 132.12 minutes.
The second reason the British are Lily White’s better signatures depends on his versatility. He can play from the left with 10 so that the previous Girona Ace can play on either side.
This ability to play in the middle of the park is even more important for North Londoners, as James Madison is expected to miss the entire season due to an ACL injury.
Finally, in addition to power and positional versatility, the previous QPR GEM is simply certain as far as Premier League is concerned, as he has so far made 146 appearances in a competition that has scored 34 goals and provided 23 assists.
By contrast, City Ace has just 29, scoring one goal and providing 10 assists, making concrete predictions about how fares will be in the coming season.
Ultimately, Savinho is a very talented player and someone who can develop into a star, but the Spurs would be better off going out and signing someone who is already a superstar like Eze.
