Nikolai Whaigard 2 Eagle 3 Holden Golf DP World Tour

Nikolai Whaugard missed the 2025 FedEx Cup playoffs, but finished 73rd in three spots just before the postseason.

That freed his schedule to play at this week’s Danish Golf Championship on the DP World Tour.

And so far, he’s been spending a week in Copenhagen. His scorecard shows he shot a 3-under 68, but the highlight reel shows a more exciting round.

He was over two years old, but returned to par after holed out to Eagle with a shot on the par 4 12th hole.

After two holes, he drilled the hole again for the Eagle, and his ball bounced back just once before finding the bottom of the cup. The best part about his second Eagle was the announcer, who was in the midst of telling viewers about Hojgaard’s first eagle when the second Eagle fell.

Hojgaard’s 68 has him in a 14-shot and a 3-shot tie from his twin brother Rasmus, who is tied up to the second.

The duo certainly enjoys competition in their home country. They are both European Ryder Cup hopes, but Rasmus, number 8 in the rankings, is a much better position than Nikolai, who slipped into 26th in the latest update.

This week’s DP World Tour Stop is second to second before the top six automatic qualifiers were completed.
