According to X’s trustworthy transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal is reportedly interested in prolific young talent Dan Casey.
This afternoon, an Italian reporter said both Crystal Palace and the city of Norwich are in touch over possible contracts to sign Casey.
On top of that, Arsenal is trying to keep his 17-year-old child and give him a new contract, but it remains to be seen whether he will accept the offer to stay at Emirates Stadium.
Casey is clearly someone in demand this summer, and his future is somewhat in the air, so see below…
Romano said: “Crystal Palace and Norwich contacted Arsenal for the talented Duncasey born in 2007. Arsenal offered an offer to keep Casey as he is currently on his contract.
Arsenal selling young people and Casey?
Arsenal’s academy has recently produced many great players, including Bukayosaka, Ethan Nuwaneri and Miles Lewis Skelly.
Previously, we saw the likes of Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe breakthrough, but Max Dowman is now attracting a lot of attention as he is approaching his first team breakthrough.
Casey looks like another great talent who scored 20 goals for Arsenal under 18 last season, but you might find he’s trying to promote his career elsewhere.
While Arsenal appears to be trying to protect him, you may find him on a realistic path to senior football at clubs like Palace and Norwich.
There is always a huge amount of competition in clubs like Arsenal, but at the same time, they show that there is a place for players who can show that they are good enough.
