Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank spoke about the club’s plans in the transfer market ahead of the club’s first Premier League match in tomorrow’s new season.

The Spurs will face the newly promoted Burnley at home on Saturday at 3pm.

The Danish tactician did an impressive job at former club Brentford, but it would be interesting to see what he can do at Tottenham now.

The Spurs have signed Mohammed Kudus, Kevin Danso and Mattis Tell, but Frank appears to be hoping for more names to appear.

Speaking at his press conference, Frank said he could see the club’s chief working hard all day and bringing in new players.

When asked about insights into how things are seen behind the scenes in Tottenham, Frank was evident in praise of the likes of Daniel Levi and Vinay Venkatesham.

“What I see internally is that Daniel and Vinay work day and night and do what they can to strengthen their team,” Frank said.

“I don’t think there’s one head coach who doesn’t want a player as quickly as possible, but I’ve been in the game for a long enough time. That’s not that easy.”
