Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz will clash at the Cincinnati Open Finals on Sunday after the two world’s top players won their respective semi-finals on Saturday.

The world’s No. 1 sinner and second place Alcaraz will be repeated at the French Open and Wimbledon finals earlier this summer.

Thinner celebrated his 24th birthday by stopping a surprise run of French wild card Terence Atmane in the final four innings with a 7-6 (4) and 6-2 victory.

World No. 136 Atmane, who has never been in the top 100, but now climbs to the age of 69 – went to the toes with thinner in a tight opening set, but the defending champion found extra gear in the tiebreak and earned the second victory.

It was the sinner’s 26th hard court victory, his 12th consecutive day on all surfaces.

Alkaraz brushed Alexander Zverev in a straight set, beating Germany’s 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles, British pair Julian Cash and Lloyd Grasspool finished their 22-match winning streak in the semi-finals.

The Wimbledon champions won the final four events, but lost to Nicola Mectic and Rajeev Ram 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2).
