Chelsea reportedly will be on the same page as Christopher Nukank when it comes to permanent transfers from the club this summer.
The French forward struggled to find his best form at Stamford Bridge, allowing him to be on his way back to the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.
Nkunku previously shined for former club RB Leipzig before moving to Chelsea, so it makes sense to return to Germany.
See below as Ben Jacobs took the X and provide an update on the situation in nkunku, revealing that both he and his club want to make the departure permanent, not loan…
“Chelsea has made their position clear to Bayern, and they want permanence at any exit,” Jacobs said. “I knew Nkunku was on the same page.”
“Ongoing discussions between clubs. Bayern can still reach an optimistic deal. Various formulas are being discussed.”
Christopher Nukank certainly left Chelsea
It seems very unlikely that Nkunku will still be a Chelsea player by the end of the summer, but his future appears to be completely unresolved.
Bruce would be suitable for off-roading the 27-year-old forever. Because it seems like the club is out there right now about committing to such a deal.
Nkunku’s poor form of his time in London would make the loan much safer, but of course it wouldn’t suit Chelsea.
Can nkunku revive his career at Bayern?
As mentioned earlier, Nkunku managed to get back to Bundesliga, but it is not clear that he plays a key role in Bayern.
Vincent Company’s side already has plenty of offensive players, so Nkunku may have a hard time playing regularly, and may have to make it in time for being a team or a rotation player.
