  • What will be next for Adason?

Manchester City launched their Premier League campaign with a compelling 4-0 victory over the Wolves.

Erling Haaland won the team braces of Pep Guardiola, with new signatures Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki scoring goals on their debuts and joining the party.

The victory put Man City at the top of the Premier League standings and although it’s too early to assume, they showed off aggressive and creative quality and sent early warnings to their rivals.

Their team could be even stronger if they succeeded in pursuing Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Genluigi Donnaruma.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, City is working behind the scenes to secure a sensational deal for the PSG goalkeeper.

Sources close to the discussion suggest that the agreement with the player’s camp has been virtually complete, and only the final details of the PSG will be resolved.

For Guardiola, securing Donnarumma is seen as an important step in restructuring the city’s goalkeeping department. The Catalan coach has long been an international worshiper of Italy.

Guardiola reportedly considers Donnarumma not only to be Ederson’s natural successor, but also a long-term pillar to the city’s continued domination in both the Premier League and Europe.

However, the move depends on the future of current city goalkeeper Edason.

Plettenberg reports that Ederson is approaching a move to Galatasaray, and the city is preparing the Brazilians to leave if the correct offer is realized. Once that exit is complete, the city is optimistic that Donnaruma will switch from Paris to Manchester.

Donnarumma already has a wealth of experience. The Italian Euro 2020 winner has played over 300 senior matches and is widely recognized as one of the best goalkeepers in the game.

He is labelled “extraordinary” by PSG teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
