The draw between the 2025 US Open Men’s Tournament and the Women’s Tournament took place on Wednesday, setting up each matchup for each tournament’s opening match and each bracket matchup. On the men’s side, the most notable development was that the second Carlos Alkaraz was portrayed on the same side as Novak Djokovic and placed in a potentially consistent position before the potential showdown of the US Open Champion, the first Janik Sinner.

Thinner and Alcaraz already met in the French Open and Wimbledon finals this year, but Thinner’s Health is a question mark entering the US Open as he nursed an illness that forced him to withdraw the mixed doubles competition with Alcaraz at the Cincinnati Open, which opened earlier this month.

The female side features equally convincing potential matchups, as the second Iga Swiatek and No. 3 Coco Gauff are on the same side of the bracket and could be on a conflict course for the right to face No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in the final. Swiatek enters the US Open, winning the Cincinnati Open, and Sabalenka enters the tournament as the defending champion.

The first US Open game will begin on August 24th.
