Pep Guardiola’s hilarious reaction to being asked about Man City’s poor record and Tottenham

Pep Guardiola had to ask what the term “bogie” means when discussing Manchester City’s slightly poor record against Tottenham.

The Spanish tactician spoke at a pre-match press conference on Friday, but was confused when a reporter asked if the Spurs were on the city’s “bogie side.”

Guardiola’s side tends to win even big games against the rest of the top six, but it’s worth noting that they often slipped into Tottenham.

Guardiola faces many different Spurs managers while in charge of the city, but suffered from Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte and Angeposcoglu.

He now faces new THFC manager Thomas Frank and admits he didn’t know why this fixture is so hard on his part…

Pep Guardiola on Manchester City’s struggle with Tottenham

When asked about city issues every time they played against the Spurs, Guardiola initially seemed confused about the meaning of “bogie.”

The 54-year-old continued to admit that he couldn’t give many clear answers to the questions anyway.

He also paid tribute to the top offensive players they often had, especially in honor of the past.

City faced the Spurs at Etihad Stadium in an early kickoff on Saturday, and is the second fixture between the two Big Six sides we’ve seen this season.

Arsenal beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford on the first day of the season last weekend, with another Manchester club this week holding another North London club this weekend.
