The 2025 Tour Championship produced a low score in the first two days of the competition at the rainy East Lake Golf Club, with Tommy Fleetwood and Russell Henry sharing a 36-hole lead with 13 under pars. After tee time goes up to ensure play ends before it rains on Friday afternoon, all 30 players tee off in the afternoon hours in Saturday’s third round, returning to normal schedules.
This means that the top 30 golfers on the PGA Tour can spend plenty of time resting following a short turnaround from the first round to the second to the second round. Players will be reorganised for nearly 24 hours before returning to the third round of course on Saturday – all during the season and $10 million winner’s share It is offered at the end of the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Fleetwood and Henry will fight in the final pairing that begins at 3pm EST. Those two groups are Patrick Cantrey and Scotty Schaeffler at 2:38pm. Schaeffler is about to add to his massive income total this season. Rory McIlroy and Sams are igniting to gain huge support at tee time at 2:16pm, as they hope to climb close to their leaders on their move-day in Atlanta.
US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley will be paired with a player hoping to compete for him at Justin Thomas next month at 1:49pm. Bradley’s pick is scheduled for next Wednesday, and the captain admitted he was struggling to concentrate on his play on Friday with the coming date – he managed the game well with 64 in the second round.
