Signing Inter Milan Star to move to Newcastle’s lineup

Newcastle is expected to be one of the busiest clubs in the Premier League for the remainder of the summer transfer period. If Alexander Isaac joins Liverpool, two new strikers will be needed. If that happens, there may be funds available to make additional signatures.

Newcastle has already signed Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, but given that Elliot Anderson and Sean Longstaff have left over the past two summers, there’s room for another midfielder to be added to Eddie Howe’s team. And the guy they are looking for may be in Italy.

According to a sports witness (via GivemeSport), Newcastle is interested in Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi. The 25-year-old, who scored five Serie A goals in his nine starts last season, also attracted attention from Man United, but a move to St. James Park is considered more likely at this stage.

Inter is ready to sell Frattesi for £35 million, according to the report. This would be a very achievable price for Newcastle. Especially if Isaac earned £150 million from sales to Liverpool.

Newcastle is in the process of building a team for the Champions League this season and hopes it will work out more than two years ago. Frattesi has a lot of European experience with Inter so he can be the ideal team to sign before returning to the competition.

For now, it is still unclear whether Newcastle is in the move for Fratesi, who has the Italian 29 cap. It could depend on Isak’s chances of departure, especially as the club’s priorities are to bring in at least one new striker before the summer transfer window closes in the first week of September.
