  • Tottenham turns his attention to Zabi Simons
  • Chelsea still leads Zabi Simons’ race

Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer business has another twist, with the club exploring the possibility of signing Zabi Simons after Ebeki Eze’s ambitious pursuit collapses at the final hurdle.

Spurs believes they have made great strides in the landing of Crystal Palace Star, with personal terms agreed and medical tests reportedly being scheduled.

However, the move collapsed unexpectedly, causing the Tottenham hierarchy to become frustrated and scrambled to find alternative attack options before the transfer window closed.

That set-off sharpened the club’s focus, and urgency replaced frustration.

Tottenham turns his attention to Zabi Simons

Sources close to the agent industry have notified us Catch off side That Zabi Simons has emerged as one of the names on the radar.

The Netherlands International is one of Europe’s most promising young midfielders in the past two seasons. He scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga for the German club last season.

Now, Chelsea is still final for his signature. The Blues already have verbal agreements on personal terms with players, but progress has stagnated as the club continues to prioritize participation before sanctioning new arrivals.

That delay has created a window of opportunity for other suitors, and Tottenham is currently monitoring development very closely.

For now, Spurs is only enquiries rather than formal bids, and is looking for updates on Simons availability and Leipzig’s stance. However, there was only a week left before the deadline, so the North London Club could be forced to act quickly if they wanted to specifically change their interests.
