He was young enough to improve further and was able to grow into a key player on the right team. It would be interesting to see if he is willing to stay in Newcastle, despite him not a regular starter for them.
The player needs to focus on his development and leaving the club is ideal for him. They cannot provide him with the opportunity he needs.
