Report: Newcastle must double offer to sign the 25-year-old UCL winner

Newcastle United are reportedly trying to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Choumeni during the summer transfer.

According to a report by Defensa Central, Real Madrid declined the offer to be a 25-year-old midfielder. A report from Fichajes claims it was Newcastle who filed the 100 million euro offer to players.

Meanwhile, a report from Defensa Central claims that Real Madrid does not want to sell France International this summer, and that offers over 200 million euros will be required to finalize the transaction. It will be interesting to see if Newcastle will move on to other targets.

No club would pay such money to Chameni. There is no doubt that French International is a quality player, but he certainly isn’t worth such a money.

Tchouameni has recently been linked to Arsenal. The midfielder also rides the radar of other clubs.

Newcastle can use more quality and depth in the middle of the park, and the 25-year-old could be the ideal acquisition for them. He can be the ideal partner for Bruno Guimarè and Sandro Tonari.

His victory experience could also be invaluable. He won the UEFA Champions League and LA La Liga titles during his time at Real Madrid.

Newcastle is about to build a scary team that can fight for major trophies, and when he signs the La Liga midfielder, a strong statement will arise. But while the deals now seem unlikely, it will be interesting to see if Newcastle has decided to revisit the situation in the summer.
