Liverpool has the advantage over Premier League rivals such as Chelsea and Arsenal in the future transfer race where Aston Villa is attacking midfielder Morgan Rodgers.
England International has recently established itself as one of Europe’s most exciting talents, and it seems inevitable that it will soon be a big move.
Rodgers looked at Chelsea and Tottenham late at the summer transfer window, but Arsenal saw him before choosing to sign Ebebeki Eze instead.
Liverpool is also a big admirer of Rogers, and KOP correspondents now claim that the Reds have agreed with Villa as part of their deal that saw Harvey Elliott move there this summer…
Their post: “Exclusive: Liverpool has a clause in the Harvey Elliot to Aston Villa Agreement, which will allow Morgan Rogers to offer a price and get a signature as early as January.
Will Morgan Rogers be Liverpool’s next big signature?
Liverpool spent massive spending over the busy summer, bringing world-class talents like Alexander Isaac, Florian Wiltz and Hugo Ekitique.
It’s not too surprising if they were looking for someone like Rogers next. The 23-year-old looks like he can become the highest level world-class performer for years to come.
If Liverpool could actually sign an agreement with the Villa for a future deal, that could be a major development in this story.
Rogers was previously valued at around £80 million, but it is not clear how much the LFC can sign him.
Either way, this certainly writes about some very bad news from Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and more.
