  • Will Liverpool return to Mark Guech?
  • Real Madrid can use Guegi

Crystal Palace defender Mark Guech has linked his move away from the club over the past few weeks.

He was expected to join Liverpool on the deadline, but the move did not pass. Crystal Palace pulled out the plug of the deal after not signing his replacement. According to Defensa Central, the 25-year-old has decided to join Real Madrid if his travel to Liverpool is not successful.

Will Liverpool return to Mark Guech?

The Reds are expected to try again for players when the transfer window opens in January. It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done. Guehi will be out of contract in the summer and may be available at nominal prices in January.

It is still unclear whether Liverpool has decided to sign him. The report argues that if Ibrahima Conate signs the extension, the Reds may leave the English international contract. In that case, the player will be moved to Real Madrid. He informed those close to him that the Spanish club was his second priority.

Madrid can use more quality and depth with defensive units, and a 25 year old could be a useful acquisition. Signing him for a reasonable amount is a wise decision. Real Madrid will secure a pre-contract agreement with players in January and can sign them for free in the summer. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

He is currently one of the best defenders in the Premier League and has the quality to do well in La Liga. If they can get the deal done, he could become an asset to the Spanish club.
