  • Axel Disai could not seal Monaco’s movements.
  • Monaco’s return would have been great for disasters

Axel Disasi now reveals that his former club Monaco is interested in signing him this summer, and he asked for an exit from Chelsea.

However, the Bruce couldn’t get a deal across the line. Chelsea have already sent out multiple players on loan this summer, and they are making the most of the total number of players allowed to lend.

Axel Disai could not seal Monaco’s movements.

He made the following clear in Le Media Carre: “While approaching from Bournemouth and West Ham, Monaco arrived and emotionally hit me. I had three incredible years in Monaco. When they went in, all the memories came back.

“I was hoping to find a solution that would allow Chelsea to leave loan (…) I pushed to go to Monaco until the very end!”

The 27-year-old French International is currently stuck at the London Club and it will be interesting to see if he can force his own path into his first team plan.

The players were sent to Aston Villa on loan later last season, and the West Midlands Club had little control over the game. It is clear that he has not been able to adapt to British football, and that he is not a key player for Chelsea. It will be interesting to sit on the London Club bench and see how things develop until the January transfer period hits players.

A return to Monaco would have been ideal for him. He knew the club well and he would have been a valuable member of the first team. The 27-year-old is at the peak of his career and he needs to play regularly. Sitting on the Chelsea bench is unlikely to benefit him. It is still unknown how the situation will unfold.

The player was highly rated during France, but the move to England didn’t work for him. Leaving Chelsea forever is ideal for players. It will be interesting to see if the club is willing to offer him an exit route over the next few days. Transfer windows are still open in parts of the world.
