Manchester United reportedly was encouraged to pursue the relocation of talented young Brighton midfielder Carlos Valleva.
The Red Devils have received extremely positive financial results, earning a record £666.5 million annual income.
It should help Man Utd pursue ambitious and expensive targets like the £100 million rated Baleba, according to the Daily Mirror.
Cameroon International is one of Europe’s most exciting young talents after being impressed in Brighton, and he will certainly be the next big sale.
Segal has won some of his recent star names. Most notably Chelsea with large sales of Moises Caseco, Mark Cuclera and Joao Pedro.
Others like the Alexis Mac Allister and Leandro Trossard have also been selling in recent years, and it would certainly be extremely difficult to maintain the talent of an elite like Baleba.
Manchester United need a midfielder like Carlos Valleva
There was another poor start to the season for United, who appears to be in crisis mode almost every year, at least in terms of what’s going on on the pitch.
Off the pitch, their finances remain clearly strong, giving Ruben Amorim the opportunity to invest in a newer signature to try and turn out results and performance.
Amorim managed to bring famous signatures like Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko this summer, but the team is still very short in the middle.
Baleba could be a massive upgrade of aging Casemiro and a slightly less convincing Kobbie Mainoo, who doesn’t play regularly.
It remains to be seen whether other clubs could compete in the 21-year-old race, but if he decides to pursue a deal, it is certainly affordable, at least for United.
Reuben Neves is another unified target in that area of the pitch, but he should also see a target from Adam Wharton to MUFC.
