Manchester United are about to sign Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde next summer.

Uruguayan International is a tremendous performer for Real Madrid, and Manchester United will do well to secure his signature. He was able to significantly improve them in the middle of the park.

Valverde has been linked to Manchester City and Liverpool in the past.

Valverde can change Man United

South America is a complete midfielder, helping defensively and will contribute in the future. He is at the peak of his power, and he consistently proves himself to the highest level. He will help Real Madrid win the major trophies and signing players of his quality and experience will be a tremendous business from Manchester United.

Real Madrid manager Zabi Alonso claims that the South American midfielder is a reminder of his former teammate, Stephen Gerrard.

The Spanish manager said: “I haven’t seen a lot of players in his physical performance. He reminds me of someone like Stephen Gerrard. He reminds me that he can play anywhere. I’m so happy to be able to coach him. Every coach wants to have Valverde on his team.

But it is fair to assume they need to secure European football to attract players of his quality. According to Fitches, Manchester United are ready to beat the market to get the deal done.

They’ve been doing well this summer to improve their offensive units, and the 27-year-old’s signature will also improve midfield. Meanwhile, Manchester United are willing to file an offer of around 100 million euros to sign South America.

He has signed a contract with Real Madrid until 2029, and they are not under pressure to sell him. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can convince Real Madrid. The Spanish outfit consistently aims to win major trophies and can’t afford to lose the best players. Valverde is one of their best midfielders and his departure will weaken them.

Additionally, players may not be keen to join a club that is undergoing the rebuilding phase. Manchester United are not in a position to win major trophies. It remains to be seen how they persuade the players and his club.
