Manchester United’s loaned winger Jadon Sancho has been criticized for how he began playing spells at Aston Villa.
Former Villaman Paul Mason has clearly not been thoroughly impressed with what he saw from Sancho so far.
At his best in his Borussia Dortmund days, Sancho was an exciting attacker, driving him into a dangerous position with a defender on board.
But now Sancho doesn’t seem confident enough. The 25-year-old was chosen for criticism from Mason after a slow start to life at Villa Park.
A critic who writes in a column for Sportskida urged Sancho to do more with the ball and take more risks with his play.

“But I don’t know what Jadon Sancho is doing right now,” Merson said.
“He’s not running to anyone, he’s not committing people, he’s not taking a chance!
“Sancho has to stop playing it safely and take risks with the ball at his feet.
“If you lose the ball, no one cares. Instead of just handing it over, try to make things happen.”
Sancho is sure he can do better than this, as he occasionally showed in his loan spell at Chelsea last season.
The former England International was once considered an elite talent in his time as a Dortmund youth, but it has been a rough year for him since he joined United.
MUFC fans will be pretty frustrated that Sancho has a bad start to the villa. Because after some loan spells that could not pull him away from the book, it appears that it will be difficult for the club to eventually sell him forever.
