China, China — Jessica Pegra and Emma Navarro respectively came from the set to win a singles match, with the US defeating England 2-0 on Saturday to reach the Billy Jean King Cup final.

The US will face defending champion Italy in the final on Sunday.

Pegra, who was seventh, passed 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 to seal it for the Americans after 18th Navarro beat Sonay Cartal 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.

Pegra has begun the US Open Semi-Finals.

The BJK Cup was previously known as the Fed Cup, but the US is the most successful team with 18 winners, but has not won since 2017.

The Americans’ final final came in 2018.

The Italian is led by Jasmine Parini, No. 8, and Elisabetta Cocchialette, No. 91, also performs singles.

Both teams have strong doubles teams. Italy has Olympic champions Paolini and Sarah Ellani. Pegra and top rank doubles player Taylor Townsend line up for the US

The three best contests will be followed by two singles matches and a potentially decisive doubles match.
