Tottenham is preparing to seal the transfer of Al Giral and Portuguese midfielder Reuben Neves, according to daily briefings.

The former wolf man could be keen to return to Europe in the near future after a spell in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

And the Spurs are a big admirer of Neves, and it appears that Thomas Frank is trying to strengthen his options in the middle of the park on the next available opportunity.

But, as Tottenham is also attracting attention by Manchester United and Newcastle United, if Tottenham can undoubtedly win the race for Neves, that’s not yet clear.

The 28-year-old could potentially be used for just 20 million euros, so he can attract many top clubs who should be able to afford the bargain deal without much trouble.

Neves always looked like a quality wolf performer. In many ways, it’s surprising that he has never joined a big club before.

It’s well known that people like Arsenal and Man United are watching Neves while they’re in Molyneux.

Now Tottenham is one of the main teams to watch in the Neves signature race as they are likely to leave Al Hilal this winter.

Spurs fans will have high hopes for how things work under Frank as manager, but there is no doubt that he can still strengthen in one or two important areas.

Signatures like Neves are ideal to help THFC continue development and push their top four position this season.
