SEOUL, South Korea – Top-seeded Igawio-taek overcomes a poor first set to win the Korean Open on Sunday, beating second-seeded Ekaterina Alexandrova 1-6, 7-6 (3), 7-5.

Schwitok dropped her own serve five times, closing off 6-2 with an ace, with nine double faults and scored fewer points than Alexandrova in a tight contest at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Centre, which lasted nearly three hours.

This was the third title of the six-time Grand Slam champions, and was 25th overall. Paul, 24, won the Cincinnati Open title last month and won his first Wimbledon title in July.

She improved to 25-5 overall in the WTA Finals.
