It’s finally Ryder Cup Week.

The 2025 competition will take place on Friday, September 26th at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, with Team Europe looking to win in foreign soil for the first time in 13 years.

Team Europe has 11 of the 12 players since their 2023 victory in Rome, including Stalwarts’ Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose.

Meet 12 members of Team Europe’s 12 Ryder Cup team at the 2025 contest at Beth Page Black in New York.

Team Europe roster at the 2025 Ryder Cup

Ludvig Aberg

The 25-year-old Swedish sense won the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines in February, climbing to fourth in the world. He did a Sunday charge at the Masters. It made me feel sick late and endured the missed cuts of the PGA Championship and the back-to-back we opened. He has been immersed in 14 in the world, but finds a better shape these days. He finished T-9, T-7 and T-21 in three FedEx Cup playoff events.

Aberg’s meteor rise after turning professionals in the summer of 2023 concluded with 2-2 in Rome in 2023.

Matt Fitzpatrick

The 30-year-old British confirmed that his game has acquired DIP since his victory at the 2023 US Open, but he rediscovered Mojo after the Masters in April. Fitzpatrick, who fell to 34th in the world, did not reach East Lake this year, but showed he was on the rebound. Can he continue it with the Ryder Cup? He has a lifelong career mark of 1-7.

Tommy Fleetwood

The British have been a key cog in the last three European Ryder Cup teams since their debut in Paris in 2018. Fleetwood has a lifetime record of 8-3-2. He and Francesco Morinali formed a winning team known as Morinari in 2018, where Fleetwood scored clinch points in Rome last time when he defeated Ricky Fowler on a single.

Fleetwood hosted another season of stable performance, closing it off with an elusive first victory on the PGA Tour, winning the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup on Sunday.

Tyrrell Hutton

The British made their fourth appearance at Team Europe to claim two victories during the qualifying period. This is the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and Hea Road by Desert Classic. He also scored points for a runner-up finish at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and finished fourth in the US Open in June. It’s even more impressive considering he played mainly for Liv Golf. However, he has been a fitting for the Euro team since 2018, playing 3-0-1 with his LIV teammate Jon Rahm in team matches.

Rasmus hojgaard

Dane, 24, was the last man, and did not officially make it until play was completed on Sunday at Betfred British Masters.

Rasmus won the 2024 Irish Open in September, earning his fifth career victory on the DP World Tour, becoming the youngest player since Jose Maria Orazabal in 1989, and five wins on the European Tour. Finishing the T-13 at the British Masters, he passed Cep Straka and Shane Raleigh at the point. He becomes a Ryder Cup rookie and replaces his brother Nikolai, who played for the 2023 team in the Rome victory.

“Rookies can bring in energy and excitement that will inspire even the most experienced players and are part of the team behind the Rome team, so there’s no doubt that Rasmus is full of enthusiasm for Beth Page Black’s challenge,” Donald said.

Viktor Hovland

The Norwegian has returned to Team Europe’s third consecutive mission tour. Hovland won the Valspar Championship in March and finished third in the US Open, but continues to search for the form that had him at the peak of his game in Rome in 2023. He dropped from number 3 in the world to number 15.

The 27-year-old Hovland could be a vital player in determining the outcome of the Ryder Cup. In 2021 he went 0-3-2 with a European defeat.

Shane Laurie

After Ramsus Hodgegard knocked out with an automatic six in the final week of qualifying, Rory was selected by Captain Donald and made his third straight appearance to the European team. Raleigh owns 2-3-1 Career Ryder Cup records in 2021 and 2023. The 38-year-old Irishman ranks 23rd in the world. He teamed up with Cep Straka twice and with Rory McIlroy and Tyrrell Hutton twice. Raleigh has arrived at East Lake this season but has not won this year, but has not recorded a top 10 finish on the PGA Tour since the Truist Championship in early May.

Robert McInteal

The Scots will become part of Team Europe. The 29-year-old MacIntyre won the PGA Tour twice last year. This includes tournaments he considers to be his fifth major, Scottish Open. This season he finished second in the US Open and BMW Championship. In Rome, McIntyre had a 2-0-1 record and beat Wyndham Clark in the singles.

MacIntyre sealed his spot after finishing second behind Scottie Scheffler at BMW. “Bob has performed several big performances on both sides of the Atlantic this season. The incredible form combined with his experience since 2023 is invaluable in New York,” Donald said.

Rory McIlroy

It wasn’t that he was undoubtedly on this team, but the Northern Irishman scored top points in the Euro, earning 3,489.21. McIlroy completed his career grand slams by winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the Player Championship and the Green Jacket. Playing in the eighth Straight Cup since 2010, the world No. 2 has a lifetime record of 16 wins, 13 losses and four half matches (16-13-4) with 18 points.

John Larm

The 30-year-old Spaniard joined Tyrrell Hatton as one of the two LIV golf members from Team Europe. Rahm made noise at the PGA Championship (T-7) and US Open (T-8), with the LIV team winning the team title. He also claimed individual titles, but the Ryder Cup would make or break his year. Rahm will represent Team Europe in the fourth consecutive cup and hold a lifetime record of 6-3-3.

Justin Rose

The 45-year-old British will compete in the seventh Ryder Cup. He holds a 15-9-3 record. Rose lost a sudden death playoff with teammate Rory McIlroy at the Masters, but found a circle of winners at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and edging JJ Span in the playoffs. Rose was the only player over 40 to win the tour this season. Rose has been a thorn on Team USA’s side in the past, and Euro captain Luke Donald may have banked the bank to more Ryder Cup heroes from his fellow British.

Cep Straca

The 32-year-old Austrian native has won two times this season at the PGA Tour at the American Express in January and the Truist Championship in May.

Straka cooled quite a bit after finishing third at the monument on June 1st. He made a tour championship, but it ended at the end. He reached a career-high seventh place in the world earlier this season, but returned to 13th. This is the second straight appearance on Team Europe. He went 1-2 in Rome in 2023.
