Leeds are off to a very promising start to their Premier League returns and are already thinking about improving their team during the January transfer period. This is essential to ensure survival.

After six games, Leeds will sit in 11th place in Premier League standings. They looked very good at times, but there were also some unstable moments.

There is concern in particular about Leeds’ offensive threats, but some of them were quieted by five goals in the final two games (3-1 vs. Wolve, 2-2 vs. Bournemouth). Nevertheless, it is an area that can be addressed in January, and the target has already been identified.

According to a report from South America (via FootballFancast), Leeds is keen on 20-year-old winger Gustavo Prado, who plays internationally. Please note that a £17 million offer is being prepared for the January transfer period. This would attempt to test the resolve of the Brazilian side, which is covered by the player having a £501 million release clause.

Prado is currently active for Brazil at Chile’s U20 World Cup, and Leeds sent scouts to watch his performance. He played 61 minutes in the opening match against Mexico and was not noticeable, but shows that he is highly regarded within his home country’s international setup.

It may be surprising that Leeds is looking for a new winger in January, but there is a foundation behind the club’s pursuit, given that summer signing Noah Okafor hasn’t been impressed with Daniel Fark since joining from AC Milan. For now, it is still unknown whether Prado is in progress.
