It is no secret that Tottenham is interested in Sabigno, who tried to sign him during his recent summer transfer period. However, when it was reported that he had agreed to a new contract with Man City in principle, hope for a future deal seemed lost, but it may not be the case.

Sabigno was interested in the summer move to Tottenham, and he believed he would become more prominent in North London. And he could still feel that way in the lead-up for the transfer window to resume in January.

According to a soccer insider, Pete O’Rourke revealed there is still a chance that Savinho will join Tottenham in 2026.

“A lot of things are also what players want to do, and if he isn’t playing regularly between now and January, it could open the door for Tottenham to rekindle interest in Savinho.

“He’s probably thinking he needs to potentially play ahead of the World Cup year against Brazil. City really doesn’t want to lose him. I’m sure they’ll want to keep him at least until the end of the season.

“I’m sure he’ll get plenty of game time, but I’m sure the Spurs will certainly continue to monitor his situation in City.”

There is no doubt that Savinho will become Tottenham’s top signature. And it will definitely be a more calm environment for him with Thomas Frank’s team. He was able to make the move in January as he aims to be included in Brazil’s World Cup team.
