  • Everton’s resolution: No sales in January
  • Man United & Liverpool is interested in Branthwaite

Speculations over Jarrad Branthwaite’s future have attracted the attention of two biggest clubs in England, but Everton appears to be determined to resist any offer, according to football insiders.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United are said to have a real interest in the 23-year-old centre-back, but recent reports show that Everton is not going to say goodbye to one of his valuable assets.

Branthwaite’s rise height, long contracts, and Toffees’ ambitions to build for the future all suggest that a complete tug of war is ahead.

Everton’s resolution: No sales in January

Sources indicate that Everton is steadfastly denying attempts to buy Branthawaite during January.

The club’s hierarchy considers the young defenders to be the centre of their long-term projects and is keen to maintain the continuity of defenses fixed by homemade promises.

This shows the message that Everton is not a sales club, regardless of overtures from the big club.

Branthwaite’s position is strengthened by contractual security. Most recently, he signed a new five-year contract that will remain bound by Goodison Park until 2030, showing Everton’s commitment to his future.

This extension not only drives out suitors by imposing a higher rating, but also cements its position as a key figure in the club’s upcoming defensive plan.

Nevertheless, it has not dampened the interests of Man United and Liverpool. United have been monitoring Brantewight for many years, and the January and summer windows continue to provide possible opportunities for new bids.

Meanwhile, Liverpool is seeking defensive reinforcements and is monitoring his development.

However, Everton’s intention to reject the offer will require significant decisions, negotiations and perhaps a large financial package for the transaction.

The Premier League giants may need to look elsewhere to meet their defensive needs.
