Man United continues to struggle under the control of Reuben Amorim, who lost again over the weekend. The Red Devils sat 14th in the Premier League after six games played and were also knocked out in the Carabao Cup.

Amorim continues to relax about the situation at Old Trafford, but there is growing calls for him to be released from his duties as soon as possible.

Former Man United Scout Mick Brown, as he told Soccer Insider, is one of those seeking Amorim to be fired.

“A lot of people have already given up on Amorim, that’s between neutrals among fans, and he’s not showing anything to prove they’re wrong, so too with some staff.

“On the pitch, he makes the same mistake many times, but insists on sticking to this style of play when it proves not working. Of course, he can blame the players, but he was supported by the transfer market with a large amount of money to sign the player he wanted, but there has not been any improvement yet.

“At this stage, even if the board decides to support him, there is no way to go back for him at this stage, because that is obviously not going to change. Delaying the decision for now means that we have to do it at some point in the future.

“The only way to really win a favor is to win the game, but there was no evidence on the pitch that it would come true.”

It remains to be seen how Amorim’s situation will unfold, but for now, he plans to continue as Man United manager.
