Bayern Munich has been selected as one of the clubs surrounding Arsenal defender Julien Timber’s potential transfer moves.

As reported here for my daily briefing, Arsenal was in discussions over a new contract for timber, and he was always completely confident, even if Bayern and another major club showed interest.

Dutch International has been an important player for the Gunners since joining from Ajax and appears to be totally happy with his life at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal is naturally happy with him too, so it seems inevitable that the pair will continue together.

Although the link with Juventus was rejected, I am aware of the unofficial approach from Bayern and another top European club.

“Timber News is accurate,” my source said. “I hadn’t heard anything in Juventus, but another big name from Bayern and Europe reached out to his people a while ago. He had no chance to go.

This is encouraging news for Arsenal fans, and as Timber is heading in a positive direction under Mikel Arteta, it ensures that he will become a key part of the North London Club’s future.

Things seem to be on the way between Arsenal and Bukayo Saka as Andrea Berta is trying to tie up another star player.

The Italian has done an incredible job since becoming AFC sports director, as well as organizing new deals from Gabriel Magalges, William Saliba, Miles Lewis Skelly and Ethan Nuwaneri.

Maintaining Saka and wood is two more very positive news for Arsenal if they can do that.
