According to a report by Fichajes, Real Madrid has arrived at the Bernabeu with great promises but may be ready to cut ties with Eduardo Camabinga, who is struggling to establish himself at the club.
The 22-year-old’s progression has been repeatedly confused with injuries and limited game times, with Madrid reportedly willing to accept offers in the 60 million euro area, and Manchester City is said to be the main suitor.
If true, development complicates the hope of rebuilding the mid-national market next year and signing the Manchester United Frenchman.
Eduardo Camabinga struggles in Real Madrid
Previous stories of Camabinga in Real Madrid have been a mixture of high possibilities and frustrating set-offs.
Signed by Rennes in the summer of 2021, he arrived as one of Europe’s most exciting young midfielders, allowing him to drive comfortably, move forward, play as a deep midfielder, and get up the pitch. However, the injury holds back his progress.
This season, Kamabimbia Beer Island has recorded just 76 minutes of action from five alternative appearances, suggesting it is now surrounding Xabi Alonso.
Man City Leader United in the race to sign midfielder
Man City is ready to bid 60 million euros in 2026, and the report adds that Real Madrid is ready to accept such an offer.
The report also suggests that Madrid prefers to negotiate with cities rather than unity.
Names such as Carlos Baleba are reportedly high on Ruben Amorim’s wish list, but Brighton refused the offer and its avenue was closed this summer.
Madrid reportedly supports the city’s deal, so United could need Plan B unless they are ready to engage in a more complicated transfer fight or explore alternative targets.
