Leeds has gotten off to the Premier League with a very encouraging start. This was made possible by a great transfer business in the summer. And behind this, Elland Road officials are already thinking about strengthening Daniel Fark’s team in January as they try to ensure that a relegation is avoided.

As shown in the first few weeks of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign, there are areas weaker than Fark’s team. The midfield is an area where you can upgrade, which allows Leeds to identify targets. One of them is currently trading Intel Milan.

According to Inter-Live (via Sports Witness), Leeds is turning to the moves of Inter Milan midfielder Piotruzielinski, who is struggling with what’s notable at Nerazzuri. He is an unused replacement in three of the last four matches, and therefore becomes available when the transfer window reopens.

Intel is pleased that Zelinsky heads to Elland Road, but there could be blocks that stumble in terms of demand. While the Serie a Giants want to secure the transfer, Leeds would prefer to sign him via loan or free transfer through cancellation of his contract at Sansilo.

Intel is currently not ready to terminate Zielinski’s contract, but their stance may change. There is a strong desire to save this money as he is expected to earn 21 million euros for the remaining years of his current trade, which will run until 2028.

It remains to be seen whether Leeds is making the Zielinski move in January, and whether they can secure an agreement on their terms. For now, they are expected to continue to monitor the situation at Polish International.
