Crystal Palace are currently interested in signing the “extraordinary” forward who has made an excellent start to the 2025-26 season.
Palace considering signing top-level forward to follow Pino
Replacing Eberechi Eze after losing the attacking midfielder to Arsenal in the summer transfer window was always going to be a tall order, but the statement signing of Yeremy Pino from Villarreal went some way to allaying Palace fans’ fears about losing their talisman.
Pino led the Eagles to victory in the Europa Conference League opener, recording two assists in a 2-0 win. The Spaniard is not the only forward to make a strong start, with Ismaila Sarr already scoring three goals in the Premier League.
Despite already being blessed with a number of top-quality attacking options in Oliver Glasner, it became clear that the Eagles were interested in another forward, proving that Steve Parish is serious.
Crystal Palace are currently keen to sign AS Monaco star Ansu Fati after his impressive start to the season, according to reports from Spain, but Everton and Newcastle United could also be interested in signing the 22-year-old.
It is unclear how much money Monaco are seeking for Fati, but Barcelona have a buy-back clause of around 28 million euros (approximately £24 million), which could be helpful.
Palace are said to be keen to add young talent to their squad, and the Monaco forward would be an ideal addition, with his form in Ligue 1 this season suggesting he could make a real impact at Selhurst Park…
Once widely regarded as the next big thing, the former Barcelona man cheated at the Camp Nou, but since signing with AS Monaco he has continued to prove he still has the potential to become one of the world’s best wingers.
Indeed, the Spaniard has made a good start to the 2025/26 season, scoring six goals in five games in all competitions, including his team’s only goal in a 4-1 defeat against Club Brugge in the Champions League.
The left-winger has received high praise from Xavi in the past, with the former Barça manager once praising him as “extraordinary”, suggesting he has the ability to make a real difference for Palace.
Parish is widely reported to be in talks with Glasner over a contract extension, and making a statement signing in January could go a long way in convincing the Austrian to stay, with Fati potentially a great addition to the squad.
