Paris Saint-Germain were impressed by Rodgers’ performance against Rodgers last season and have been monitoring him closely ever since. The French powerhouse club is reportedly preparing for a possible transfer. Liverpool are also one of the clubs in the race and are monitoring the situation closely.

However, Aston Villa have made it clear that they will not sell Rodgers easily. The player was linked with Manchester City during the summer, but talks failed to materialize. Interest from Arsenal and Tottenham waned due to Villa’s high valuation, and concrete negotiations were not possible.

Playing alongside top players at the London club will allow him to further develop and realize his potential.
