  • Latest transfer information on Endrik, who Real Madrid wants to loan to La Liga
  • Will Manchester United sign Endrick and Mateta?

Manchester United are interested in signing Real Madrid forward Endrik on loan in January, but another club seems more likely at the moment.

As reported in today’s Daily Briefing exclusive update, Real Sociedad have strong links with Real Madrid and are considered the most likely option.

There is also a “clear desire” within the Bernabéu to loan Endrick to a La Liga club rather than abroad, but there are plenty of suitors across Europe.

Manchester United have also made inquiries, but there is also interest from Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, Monaco and Porto.

Sociedad are not the only Spanish club interested in Endrik, with Valencia also involved, but it is the Basque club with the most links to Los Blancos.

Real have loaned Martin Odegaard to Sociedad in the past and also agreed a lucrative contract with Takefusa Kubo a few years ago.

This could be a bit of a blow for Manchester United. Manchester United also like Endrick and need to sign a new contract up front in the near future.

Still, as mentioned in a separate report earlier today, Jean-Philippe Mateta’s move to United is also a story to watch.

Will Manchester United sign Endrick and Mateta?

It’s too early to know for sure where Endrik will end up, but his future appears to lie beyond the Bernabeu this January.

The Brazilian youngster will be leaving on loan, which could have been an exciting option for United.

However, Mateta may make more sense for MUFC in any case as he is more proven and could be a more realistic option for a permanent transfer.
