Champions Tour players cite amenities for themselves, caddies and families as reasons to vote Furyk & Friends their top tournament

  • Constellation Furyk & Friends has been voted the top event of the season by PGA Tour Champions players for the second time.
  • The Players Championship is holding auditions for vocalists and ASL interpreters for the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony.

Once again, the PGA Tour Champion player speaks.

For the second time in five years, Constellation Furyk & Friends has been selected as the winner of the Players Award for the top event of the season, as voted on by Champions Tour members. The tournament earned the same honor in 2022 after its second edition.

Among the amenities mentioned by players at the tournament: Jim and Tabitha Furyka Cadillac courtesy vehicle, access to the Club 58 hospitality venue for Friday and Saturday night concerts, and a detailed player and caddy handbook for all tournament services, events, key contact information, and dining.

Furyk & Friends completed a five-year run at Timucuana Country Club from October 4th to 6th. Players Championship Set Audition

If you have vocal talent, The Players Championship wants to hear it.

The Players will again invite individuals and groups from Northeast Florida to audition for a chance to perform “America the Beautiful” at the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony Concert to be held on the 17th hole of the Players Stadium Course two days before the first round. This year’s concert will be on March 10, 2026.

The Players are also accepting individual applications from American Sign Language interpreters to sing the national anthem and sign America the Beautiful.

Interested vocal performers must submit a video clip of their performance of “America the Beautiful,” and ASL interpreters must submit a signed video of their performance of the song by 5 p.m. on January 7, 2026. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges and selected performers will be notified via email.

RSM Classic partners with Dreams Come True

The PGA Tour’s fall event, the RSM Classic, held at Sea Island Resort on St. Simons Island, Georgia, has entered into a three-year partnership with Dreams Come True, a Jacksonville-based charity that helps children battling life-threatening medical conditions participate in dream activities and trips.

The tour event, sponsored by the Davis Love Foundation, will run from November 20th to 23rd.

During the three-year partnership, Dreamers and their families will be invited to the RSM Classic to visit tournament venues, meet PGA Tour players and participate in family-friendly activities.

One of the first events will be a putting challenge on November 19th. RSM supports Dreamers teams in competitions, with proceeds going directly back to Dreams Come True.

Since 1984, Dreams Come True has helped more than 5,000 children in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia turn their dreams into reality.
