  • Alexis Mac Allister is happy with Liverpool
  • Real Madrid could use Mac Allister

Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months.

Real Madrid are monitoring his situation closely and it will be interesting to see if they make a decision to sign him at the end of the season. He is currently one of the best midfielders in the world and Real Madrid would do well to secure his contract. Since the departure of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, they have lacked control and creativity in the center of the park.

Signing a World Cup winner could be a wise move. However, the player is happy with Liverpool and will not be forced to leave. It is unlikely that the Spanish team will be able to conclude a deal before the end of the season.

Alexis Mac Allister is happy with Liverpool

Pete O’Rourke told Football Insider: “This speculation about Mac Allister and Real Madrid has been going on for some time.

“There has been talk about it in the last few transfer windows, but you never know.

“His father has spoken about this before and said he is happy about the interest and would never rule out a move to a big club like Real Madrid.

“In fairness to the player, he played down the speculation in the summer, saying he was happy at Liverpool but had not had any contact.

“At the moment it’s just speculation. He’s happy with Liverpool and Liverpool are happy with McAllister, so I don’t expect any immediate movement on that.”

Real Madrid will once again aim to win the league and win the UEFA Champions League. They need quality players at their disposal. They need someone to help them control the tempo of the game and be creative in the middle of the park. The Argentina international certainly fits that profile. He has the ability to play for most teams in the world and will help improve the team.

It will be interesting to see if Real Madrid can tempt him with a proposal after the season.
