  • Liverpool interested in Kenan Yildiz

Arne Slott’s Liverpool feel they have a golden opportunity to lure Juventus attacking mainstay Kenan Yildiz away from the club.

Kenan Yildiz has established himself as one of the best young attackers in the world with his consistent performances for Juventus. A number of top clubs are keen to sign the Turkish treasure and, according to Pete O’Rourke via Football Insider, Liverpool are in the race to sign him.

Tottenham are also interested in signing Yildiz.

The Merseyside club are keeping an eye on him and could try to poach him in 2026. A winter transfer is highly unlikely as Juventus don’t want to lose him, but it looks like the Reds will try their luck next year.

Yildiz has played in 13 games in all competitions, contributing 7 goals. The 20-year-old has become one of the Turin-based club’s mainstays and is under contract until the summer of 2029, but could end up pushing for a move if the club do not match his ambitions.

Yildiz loves life at Juventus, but he will only stay at the club if they win important titles and qualify for the Champions League. Even if the Old Lady fail to deliver, a club like Liverpool could make the most of it.

Coach O’Rourke said of Yildiz’s future: “It’s no surprise that there is no lack of interest in Yildiz, who is one of the most highly rated young players in Europe.

“It’s not just Liverpool who are interested. Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are all big fans of the Turkish international.”

“They are quite confident that he will sign a new contract to remain at Juventus. Juventus are quite optimistic that he will sign a new contract.”

Despite spending big in the summer to strengthen their attacking line-up, the Merseyside club are still looking to improve the quality of their side. Yildiz has recently been used in a number 10 role, but prefers to play wide on the left.

As well as Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in the 20-year-old winger. Juventus are looking to secure his future with a new and improved contract, given that a number of clubs are interested in signing him. They are confident that he will put pen to paper, but his future will depend on the performance of the club as a whole.
