  • Tottenham’s frustration mounts after Kolo Muani’s injury
  • Randall Kolo Muani has a difficult start to life in the Premier League

Tottenham were left disappointed after conceding a late equalizer against Manchester United to draw 2-2 in a dramatic Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

United took the lead in the first half with a goal from Brian Mbeumo, giving the visiting team the perfect start.

Despite creating a number of chances, Spurs struggled to find a breakthrough until the 84th minute, when Matthijs Tell’s shot deflected off Matthijs de Ligt and into the back of the goal.

Immediately after that, Tottenham thought they had won. Substitute Richarlison scored in the 91st minute, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.

However, the final say rested with Man Utd, with De Ligt’s top-of-the-line goal in the 96th minute clinching a dramatic point for the home side.

It was the second consecutive league match in which United scored a late goal to earn an important draw.

Tottenham’s frustration mounts after Kolo Muani’s injury

Adding to Tottenham’s woes, forward Randal Kolo Muani was injured during the first half in an aerial duel with Harry Maguire.

The Frenchman, making his third successive start in the Premier League, tried to continue, but was replaced at half-time by Wilson Oduber.

Initial assessments suggested the injury was minor, with manager Thomas Frank initially playing down concerns as “no big deal”.

However, journalists said further tests on Sunday revealed Kolo Muani had a fractured jaw. Fabrice Hawkins.

Randall Kolo Muani has a difficult start to life in the Premier League

It has been a difficult start to life in the Premier League for Kolo Muani, who joined Spurs on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

The French striker has already missed 11 games this season through injury, limiting his ability to adapt to the physical demands of English football.

Despite his struggles, there is no doubting the quality of Kolo Muani, who has consistently performed in Europe’s top leagues.

Spurs will be hoping for a speedy recovery for the forward, who remains one of the most talented young strikers in Europe. If he can regain full fitness, Kolo Muani could play a key role in Tottenham’s bid for a top-four finish this season.
