Leeds United have had a mediocre start to the Premier League but are now going through a difficult period.

They are desperate to get the season back on track and aim to survive at the top of the table. Meanwhile, as the January transfer window approaches, preparations are underway to deal with the possibility of some players leaving the club. According to Sky Sports, multiple players are out of contract at the end of the season, so Leeds could consider acquiring them during the January transfer window to avoid losing players on free transfers.

Will Leeds be deported in January?

Goalkeeper Ilan Meslier is out of contract this summer and is currently the club’s third-choice goalkeeper. Manager Daniel Farke no longer considers him a key player and it would be ideal for the club to sell him.

Meanwhile, Sam Byram has also been linked with a move away from the club. He will not be a regular starter at the club and will likely look for an outlet in regular football to get his career back on track. He is a versatile player and could be a very beneficial acquisition for the team.

Alex Cairns is also rumored to be on the verge of leaving the club. The reserve goalkeeper has no future at Leeds and would be ideally suited to join a club where he can play regularly. It will be interesting to see if he can find a suitable destination in January.

Finally, Karl Darlow could also be leaving the club. He is currently in contention for a starting spot and is the club’s reserve goalkeeper. The Wales international has performed extremely well when given the chance and it remains to be seen whether Leeds are prepared to allow him to leave.
