The Chevron Championship is back in action.

The LPGA announced its 2026 competition schedule Wednesday ahead of the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Fla., and one notable observation is that Chevron will be the venue.

Chevron has been contested at the Club at Carleton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas, each of the past three seasons after leaving longtime host Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, California. The LPGA announced the April 23-26 major will be held in the Houston area, but Golfweek reports it will head to Memorial Park, where the PGA Tour’s Texas Children’s Houston Open will be held.

Although updated prize money for all five majors has not yet been announced, the LPGA has increased non-major prize money to more than $132 million, including an increase from 10 tournaments. The Fortinet Founders Cup ($3 million) and Buick LPGA Shanghai ($3.2 million) each boast increases of more than $1 million.

With the Black Desert Championship in Ivins, Utah removed from the schedule, the number of tournaments including the Solheim Cup will be 31, down from 32 last year.

There are also some venue changes.

  • The Founders Cup will travel from Bradenton, Florida to Menlo Park, California to be held at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club, starting in early February and running from March 19-22 in the second half of the calendar.

  • The Mizuho Americas Open will be held at Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell, New Jersey, replacing Liberty National, which will return in 2028.

  • The Kroger Queen City Championship has been moved from September to May 14-17 and will be held at Maketewa Country Club in Cincinnati.

  • The TOTO Japan Classic will be held at the Taiheiyo Club in Ibaraki, Japan.

  • The venue, Buick LPGA Shanghai, has not yet been announced.

The Aramco Championship will replace T-Mobile Match Play, but the venue, Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, will remain unchanged.

Other major venues include Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles (US Women’s Open), Hazeltine National in Chaska, Minnesota (KPMG Women’s PGA), Evian Resort (Evian Championship), and Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s in England (AIG Women’s Open). KPMG and Evian are held two weeks apart with no tournaments in between.

The Solheim Cup will be held at Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands from September 11th to 15th.

The release of the schedule is LPGA announces live streaming of every round of all 2026 eventsThis is the first time since Golf Channel began broadcasting the Tour in 1995. The partnership with FM and Trackman also enhances several broadcast capabilities. For non-massive events, the total number of cameras will increase by 50%, with triple the number of microphones, slow-motion cameras, and drones, and quadruple the number of shot tracing capabilities.
