  • Leeds United target Gonzalo Garcia as top target
  • Real Madrid may be open to a sale

Leeds United have scored just 10 goals in 11 Premier League games this season.

As such, they are currently close to the relegation zone and could potentially enter a festive period into the relegation zone with some difficult games coming up.

Los Blancos will face Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool in their next four games
Match.

It remains unclear whether Daniel Farke will take over as Leeds manager after such difficult games, and considering the league position after those games.

Leeds United are gearing up for the crucial January transfer window, with club officials actively searching the market for a new striker to transform their attacking force in the second half of the season.

Leeds United target Gonzalo Garcia as top target

High on the list of candidates is Real Madrid forward Gonzalo García, a rising star who has been on Leeds’ radar for several months.

Garcia burst onto the world stage last summer as the top scorer at the FIFA Club World Cup, earning widespread praise for his poise, movement and decisiveness.

His performances soon attracted the attention of several clubs in Europe, including Leeds, who sought a contract during the final period.

According to TEAMtalk, Leeds are closely monitoring his situation and are preparing to rekindle their pursuit ahead of the winter window.

Leeds are not alone in this race. Aston Villa and Wolves have also expressed strong interest, as they want to strengthen their attacking options, especially with the current striker’s lack of form.

Brighton, on the other hand, are thought to be the most interested at this stage and are already in talks for a straight loan.

However, Real Madrid are reportedly leaning towards selling him outright if they receive a suitable bid.

Leeds are thought to be ready to meet that demand, with packages worth up to £20m being considered.

Such a fee could prove attractive, especially for Madrid, who are looking to balance squad depth with financial flexibility ahead of signing potential future players.

The January window could be Leeds’ best opportunity yet to sign one of Europe’s most exciting young forwards, as competition heats up and Real Madrid are finally open to talks.
