Blakeway Farm is excited to announce the arrival of Bango in Indiana for the 2026 breeding season. Bango is a millionaire racehorse sired by AP Indy, from the mare Josaka—bred by Smart Strike—who has produced an impressive 12 graded winners and 47 Black Type Stakes winners.

Bango was bred and raced by Tamaraw Partners and trained by Gregory Foley, enjoying a lengthy and successful racing career. The resilient 8-year-old has started 42 races, winning nine stakes and placing in Grade 2 competitions, including a close second-place finish to Hoist the Gold and Nakatomi in the 2023 Phoenix Stakes at Keeneland. He retired with a record of 15 wins, 4 seconds, and 5 thirds.

Notably, Bango won 12 races at Churchill Downs, the most by any horse in the track’s history, earning him the nickname “Mr. Churchill Downs.” Over his career, he amassed earnings exceeding $1,644,000. His stud fee for the 2026 season will be set at $2,500.
