Bango was bred and raced by Tamaraw Partners and trained by Gregory Foley, enjoying a lengthy and successful racing career. The resilient 8-year-old has started 42 races, winning nine stakes and placing in Grade 2 competitions, including a close second-place finish to Hoist the Gold and Nakatomi in the 2023 Phoenix Stakes at Keeneland. He retired with a record of 15 wins, 4 seconds, and 5 thirds.
