Manchester United are aiming to strengthen their defense with the signing of a quality central defender.

According to TEAMtalk’s Dean Jones, Manchester United are looking to add depth at the back. However, that will not affect Harry Maguire’s future at the club. They believe the experienced England international could be one of their players in the future and are prepared to tie him to a new contract. The arrival of a new central defender will not move Maguire down the pecking order.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United are able to sign a defender in the coming weeks. They have looked vulnerable at the back at times, but they need to tighten up if they want to qualify for next season’s Champions League. They have been linked with several central defenders in recent months, but it remains to be seen who they will ultimately face.

As far as Maguire is concerned, he has shown improvement in recent months and there is no doubt that he deserves to stay at the club. He could become a very important player for Manchester United in the near future. Apart from his qualities as a defender, his experience and leadership skills could be crucial.

Manchester United have shown signs of progress this season and it will be interesting to see if they can finish the season on a positive note. They need to return to the UEFA Champions League. If they want to sign top quality players. They are one of the biggest clubs in the world, but they have not been able to compete at the highest level for a long time.
